Hall (1st floor)
Large event hall with its own stage, 3 TV sets, sound system, wall and ceiling lighting, 3 separate toilet facilities, a goods/passenger lift and a kitchen lift from the ground floor, and its own catering kitchen. With direct access to the 10 hotel rooms.
With an ancient tiled stove
Dining Room
A cosy dining room with an antique tiled stove, atmospheric lighting (dimmable ceiling LEDs), a small bar, a coffee machine, ceiling-mounted jukeboxes, an illuminated glass wine cellar cube, two large TV sets and direct access to the fully equipped main kitchen and veranda.
With a fireplace and views of the Alps
Pavilion
A cosy little restaurant with a fireplace and a beautiful window front that opens out onto the Swiss Alps. Ideal for family celebrations, small corporate events or seminars. The pavilion has a kitchen, a buffet counter and its own toilet facilities.
You can also hire the pavilion (for up to 35 people, depending on the table layout and seating arrangement) without catering.

Veranda
A simple, covered but unheated forecourt with stone slabs and a bar, just like on an alp, ideal for fondue or cigar evenings, with a large TV
With seven themed cellars
Wine cellar
The vaulted wine cellar at the Landgasthof Farnsburg, with its seven themed cellars, is arguably one of the largest and oldest wine cellars in Switzerland – parts of it are over 300 years old. Exclusive bottles of wine from various wine producers are stored in the atmospherically lit vaults.

Sun terrace
We look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful spot, with views stretching from the Basel region all the way to the Alps. When you book an event with us, we’ll reserve additional seats on the terrace for the number of guests in your booking.
Enjoy this place of power set amidst unique natural surroundings, right beneath the recently renovated Farnsburg ruins, famous throughout Switzerland. The castle is a 15-minute walk away.

Entire country inn
For groups of 170 or more, you can book the entire country inn exclusively — the dining room, function room, veranda, pavilion and sun terrace, which together seat up to 220 people (excluding the wine cellar and hotel rooms). You can find details of the individual rooms further up on this page.
Both large rooms
Dining Room & Banquet Hall
For medium to large events, the cosy dining room on the ground floor and the large function room on the first floor can be hired together — accommodating up to 170 guests in total. You can find details of the facilities in both rooms further up under ‘Dining Room’ and ‘Function Room’.
